The explosion occurred in a two-story house, precisely in the community of Pidhorodnenskaand responded to an attack launched by Moscow.

It is not ruled out, however, that the number of injuries could increase since it is believed that there are still people trapped in the remains of the house.

In this sense, the President Volodimir Zelensky confirmed this episode and expressed his sadness at what happened. “Unfortunately there are people under the rubble. Once again, Russia proves that it is a terrorist state”, he commented.

Images released by the Kiev emergency services show rescuers working with their flashlights to try to find people in the dead of night.

After the impact on this residence, a fire also broke out in a neighborhood north of the city.

Meanwhile, and as often happens, Russia denies this attack and denies Ukraine’s version but continues with its offensives.

This Saturday, other parts of the country suffered missile impacts. In sumito the north, were heard 87 detonations that left several injured and destroyed the infrastructure; meanwhile, between Berdyansk and Melitopol were counted another dozen impacts.

These attacks are part of the strategy adopted by Moscow in recent days through which it has intensified its attacks on kyiv.

Russia launched his “most massive attack” during the night on Saturday with Iranian-made Shahed drones, the city’s senior military official, Serhii Popko, commented just a week ago.

One of the goals was a clinic in Dnipro, what left at least four dead and 23 injured. They are a 56-year-old doctor, a 64-year-old hospital employee, a worker from a nearby veterinary clinic, and a 69-year-old man.

“We must irrevocably defeat these inhumans as soon as possible. because it is our moment and it is our people. Our people are the most precious thing Ukraine has,” Zelensky said, while the European Union condemned the Kremlin’s actions, calling it “barbaric.”

“Russia’s barbaric attacks continue, killing and terrorizing civilians: attack on the hospital in Dnipro, now Kiev,” said the spokesman for the European External Action Service (EEAS), Nabila Massrali, and confirmed that the Twenty-seven remain “committed to helping Ukraine to defend itself” and that the perpetrators “will be held accountable”.

These offensives take place while Zelensky’s troops are preparing to launch a counteroffensive, although no details have been provided in this regard, nor has it been specified when or where it will be launched.
