Russian forces have destroyed a museum in the center of the Ukrainian city of Kupyansk, in the northeastern province of Kharkiv, an attack in which at least two people were killed, including a local employee. “Kupyansk, city center, the municipal history museum. The terrorist state is doing everything possible to completely destroy us. Our history, our culture, our people. He kills Ukrainians with absolutely savage methods,” Zelensky wrote on his Telegram account.
The Head of State reported the death of “a museum employee” and “ten injured” in the attack. The number of victims could grow. “There are still people under the rubble,” explained Zelensky, who also said that the rescue efforts continue and vowed not to leave the attack unanswered.
Zelensky also honored the memory of the victims of the Russian attacks and showed sympathy for their relatives. The president also promised that “all those guilty of these war crimes will be brought to justice” and that justice will “show no mercy” when it comes to judging them.
According to the military administration of Kharkiv province, the attack was carried out with an S-300 missile.
“At the moment we were informed of the death of an employee of the museum and ten wounded,” Zelensky said in a Telegram message, condemning the Russians who “kill Ukrainians with absolutely atrocious methods.”
“There are still people under the rubble,” he added.

“All those guilty of these war crimes will be brought to justice, without mercy,” promised the Ukrainian president.
Zelensky explained that the attack took place in the center of Kupiansk, “against a museum local history”, very close to the front line.
He posted a video on the same social network in which a destroyed building is seen.
“The terrorist country is doing everything possible to completely destroy us,” he denounced. “We must respond and we will!” she assured.
Before the war Kupiansk had more than 25,000 inhabitants. It was conquered by the Russians in the first days of their invasion, more than a year ago, but the Ukrainians managed to retake the city last September.
