A United States court will examine this Tuesday whether the prince harry of England obtained his visa to enter the country irregularly, after the revelations about his drug use in the book Spare have raised doubts about the process.
Specifically, a court in Washington will evaluate a lawsuit filed by the Heritage Foundation, a think tank of conservative ideology, against the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to obtain information related to the visa approval process for the Duke of Sussex.
“Wide media coverage has highlighted the question of whether DHS properly admitted the Duke of Sussex in light of the fact that he has publicly admitted to committing drug crimes both in the US and abroad”, can be read in the lawsuit, to which the CBS chain has had access.
The Heritage Foundation argues that “American law generally considers a person inadmissible for entry” into the country if there is evidence that you have used drugs in the past.
The lawsuit also seeks to have Harry’s immigration history released because of the “enormous interest” in the case.
