Sometimes we leave our phones unlocked in some places we go and it can happen that acquaintances or loved ones carry out operations with our phones without us noticing. When we realized they were checking our smartphones or worse yet, posting things on social media, it’s too late.

Well, you should know that there is a method (works only on phones Android) that can help you to know the identity of a person in case he has taken his cell phone without permission, and perhaps, you can even see what applications he opened.

As detailed Andro4all, developer MidnightDev has released an application in Google Play Store call “Who took my cell phone?” The aforementioned app can provide a report showing the date, time and identity of the person who tried to unlock your mobile phone.

According to the post, if this stranger tries to break into your smartphone but makes a mistake and sets the wrong security way, the front camera of the device will be activated (without you noticing) and will start filming so you can know your identity.

If a stranger guesses your unlock pattern and manages to enter your smartphone, this Android app generates a report that lists all the applications you have entered. This way you will know if they have reviewed your Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok or some other social network.

How to use the app

This application is independent of the blocking method. The person does not need to try to unlock the cell phone for it to activate. All you have to do is pick it up and try to unlock it for the app to take a photo of your subject.

The operation of the application is quite simple. With the permissions given (as mentioned above), you just need to enable it for it to start working. To control the access report, we can enable password access or fingerprint unlock.

These reports offer data such as The time where someone has taken your Android device (anyone, including us), the number of locks and unlocks made, how long the cell phone has been unlocked and of course, the photo of the person who was inquiring on the mobile.

So you can use your Android phone as if it were a computer

Most Android devices are already good enough to provide you with tools as if you were in front of a computer, and here are some of the best ways to do it:

Connect a screen to your Android

Another important aspect to consider is the use of the screen. Although many mobile phones have extended panels, the experience of working in the office will always be better with a larger screen. In this case there is something very important to take into account, which is the possibility of connecting our mobile phone to the screen through the HDMI connection.

Use an appropriate mouse and keyboard for the situation

Of course the main characteristic of a computer is that in addition to the interface it is often used with a keyboard and mouse, or trackpad for laptops.

For this there are several alternatives such as buying a bluetooth keyboard and mouse package, or using a USB-C adapter to connect any device to the input of your smartphone.
