Little did Netflix care about the bad comments received by the sixth season of the teen drama, Elite, because this Thursday, March 9, it confirmed an unexpected participation for one of the most popular productions in its catalogue, because Anitta, the Brazilian star will hit the halls of Las Encinas.
The artist who was nominated for Revelation Artist at the last Grammy Awards will make her debut as an artist in the Spanish production of the streaming platform. Netflix did not reveal details of the role that she will play but presented the first images of Anitta wearing the Las Encinas uniform.
The nearly 30-year-old singer who rose to fame with her song Envolver took on the challenge of acting after succeeding in music and will share a picture with renowned actors such as André Lamoglia, Valentina Zenere, Álvaro de Juana, Carmen Arrufat, Álex Pastrana, Ana Bokesa, Ander Puig, Nadia Al Saidi and the return of Omar Ayuso.
Annita reacted to the news through her Instagram stories, because minutes after her participation in Elite was confirmed, she shared a series of photographs with the producer of the series as well as part of the cast that accompanies her.
“Thank you for treating me with such care, affection and respect,” he wrote next to a photograph in which he can be seen accompanied by Rubén Goldfarb, producer of Elite.
