At least one person has died as a consequence of massive drone attack released last night for Russia against the Ukrainian city of Lvivin the west of the country, as reported today by the mayor of the municipality, Andri Sadovi.
“Under the rubble the body of a dead man who worked in the warehouse has been found,” he wrote on his Instagram account. Telegram Sadovi, referring to one of the industrial warehouses that suffered damage during the attack.
According to the Military Administration of the area, a total of 18 Shahed kamikaze drones launched by Russia reached the airspace of the province of Lviv last night. Ukrainian defenses managed to knock down 15 of those droneswhile the other three reached company warehouses.
Mayor Sadovi explained that one of the facilities hit belongs to a window company, the other to a household chemicals company, and the third was used by Cáritas to store humanitarian aid.


The falling fragments of the intercepted drones also caused a fire in an industrial infrastructure and several people have had to receive medical attention.
Ukrainian counteroffensive: kyiv broke the Russian defense line near Bakhmut
Ukraine claimed on Monday to have broken the Russian defense line after reoccupying two villages near the devastated city of Bakhmuton the eastern front, and claimed to have taken seven km2 in this area last week.

Bakhmut is a key position on the Eastern Front and has been in the hands of Russian troops since May. This city has been devastated by fierce fighting and bombings that have been going on for more than a year.
