The Oscar for Best Visual Effects went, without a doubt, to Avatar: The Way of Water.
Joe Letteri, Richard Baneham, Eric Saindon, and Daniel Barrett have been doing impeccable work for Avatar 2 since the very first installment.
This Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, the 2023 Oscar Awards will take place.
This 95th edition of the 2023 Oscars, organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will recognize films released in 2022.

Avatar 2, The Sense of Water represents a qualitative leap in terms of visual effects, since to recreate an entire ecosystem we worked with the latest advances in image technologies. In this second installment, in addition, water has an immense role and, therefore, the underwater world of Pandora is full of new and incredible species.
With environmental and social criticism, the colonization of indigenous worlds, the film narrates the return of humans to Pandora, this time to colonize it, and return to extract its most precious materials.
