Banda El Recodo announced bioseries with Julio Preciado

The now soloist sang with his former colleagues, thus fulfilling his promise more than four years after confirming the reunion

The Banda El Recodo de Don Cruz Lizárraga returned to the Mexican stages with one of the most anticipated promises by the public that is faithful to the Mexican regional genre: to sing again with Julio Preciado. After having delayed her tour for two years, finally last Friday, April 1, the Mother of all bands opened her tour “This life is very beautiful” at the Telmex theater in Guadalajara.

Although the presentation covered all expectations from the oldest fan to the most recent, Luis Alfonso Lizárraga Lizárraga has given a twist to the news about them by mentioning that there is a great possibility of bringing the history of the band to the small screen or even to a streaming platform, as other celebrities such as Luis Miguel –Netflix– or Silvia Pinal -Televisa- have already done, so even Julio Preciado would have his important participation in the project of which no great details were given.

“There we have saved quite a lot of material, the truth, and obviously thinking of being able to carry out this boiserie that then talks about history or about what Don Cruz Lizárraga’s El Recodo Band is,” he mentioned to be interrupted by Preciado who did not hesitate to joke about his representation on the screen when he was still overweight: “What makes me laugh about the bioseries is that they are going to remember me when I was fat and well not like that ha, ha, ha,” he expressed before the cameras of Venga La Alegría .

If the project that the band interpreting hits such as La Mejor de Todos, Te Presumo or Yo Sé Que Te Acordarás is completed, they would join the long list of Mexicans who have fulfilled their dream of seeing the stories of their lives in projects of television or streaming, as is the case of Alejandra Guzmán, Juan Gabriel with “Until I met you” (2016), Joan Sebastian for “Forever Joan Sebastian” (2016), Celia Cruz, Jenni Rivera, Paquita la del Barrio, Lupita D’Alessio, Selena Quintanilla and in the near future apparently Gloria Trevi and Yuri.
