These documents provide an interesting version of the world of one of the bloodiest criminals in the history of the Italian mafia and that he claimed his Sicilian origin over the Italian, a State he fought against in the 1990s.
“We are children of this land of Sicilyexhausted from being subjugated by a State, first Piedmontese and then Roman, that we do not recognize. We are Sicilians and we want to continue like this”, wrote the mobster, a well-known passionate about history.

In that house, where films, jewelry and even posters of “The Godfather” were found, several letters also appeared, some with instructions addressed to his sister Rosalía, whom he called “Fragolone”.
In others, he regretted his relationship with his only known daughter, Lorenza, who lived until she was 17 under the control of the gangster’s sisters, from whom he ended up escaping: “She has been poorly raised, degenerated in the most insignificant way,” he lamented for written.
