- Björk shared through a statement that her new song is a collaboration with the Spanish
Björk is one of the most important singers in music and Rosalía has little by little made her way in the industry; To the surprise of many, the singers have decided to unite their talent to launch a collaboration that will have charitable purposes.
The person in charge of announcing the news was Björk, who through a publication on Instagram revealed that she will soon launch a collaboration with the Spanish Rosalía, something that no one saw coming.
In the publication a fish is seen while a statement announcing the collaboration between the singers begins to appear, as well as a fragment of the new song.
“It’s the right thing to do, I just don’t know,” says this fragment that is performed by Björk and Rosalía.
The funds raised from the sale of the song between Rosalía and Björk will be donated to help the fight against technical fish farming in Iceland, which promotes the reproduction and breeding of fish and shellfish.
According to the statement, technical fish farming is affecting the Icelandic ecosystem, and this has also affected the DNA of the country’s native fish such as salmon, something Björk mentions in her statement.
As if that were not enough, this practice also damages the environment, causing them to have no remedy or “repair.”
