“Bule Bule, el show” is back with a new cast made up of young musical theater talents who perform the great rock classics in each performance, directed by Anahí Allué.
The grand finale of the most famous television program of the 60s has arrived and there are two groups that will compete with everything to win the public’s votes: Las Bombonettes (Ana Rivero, Miranda Labardini, Carolina Heredia and Begoña Ibarreche) and Los Pillos del Rock (Jonathan Portillo, Humberto Mont, Emiliano Ochoa, Esvan Lemus and Chema Ortega). The host of the program, Freddy, is played by José Luis Rodríguez “Guana”.
Some of the songs you can hear in this musical are: “It’s my party”, “Pink Shoelaces”, “Poison Ivy”, “Your head on my shoulder”, “My boyfriend came back”, “Can’t help feeling love”; among other. The performances are every Monday at 8:45 p.m. at the Teatro Milán.
“Bule Bule, the show” is an original idea by Paola Mingüer, Diego Medel and Daniel Delgado, written by Joserra Zúñiga and directed by Anahí Allué, it premiered in Mexico City in 2014 at the Teatro Milán. Due to its success, the short season became several seasons at that theater and went on to appear at the Teatro Xola and the Royal Pedregal, as well as tours of various cities in the country and two local productions in Monterrey and Guadalajara.
This new season, with a new cast, scenery and costumes, had Timbiriche as godparents: Alix Bauer, Diego Schoening, Erik Rubín and Mariana Garza.
Produced by Carlos M. Vidaurri and Daniel Delgado, the play won the ACPT Award for Best Mexican Musical in 2014 and received four Metro Award nominations in 2018, including Best Musical Theater Play and Best Leading Female Performance in a Musical, for Hiromi.
