“Crushed”, the Imagine Dragons song that tells the story of a young survivor of Russian bombing in Ukraine

Imagine Dragons is an ambassador for United24, the platform promoted by Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky to collect funds for humanitarian aid for his country. “This is Sasha, she is 14 years old. His town was occupied for five months. Her neighbors did not survive. Her house was destroyed and his family lost everything ”.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation in Ukraine, celebrated the making of “Crushed” and its broadcast to raise funds for the reconstruction of the country. “We still can’t believe it, but it really happened!” he wrote on Telegram and stated that the song “is a dedication to Ukraine and support for United24″.

According to the news agency ukrinformthe United24 platform raised USD 325 million last year for projects in support of Ukraine and its ambassadors also include Richard Branson, Barbara Streisand, Star Wars actors, astronaut Scott Kelly and other international celebrities.

On the other hand, a report from the Internal Displacement Monitoring Center (IDMC) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) published this Thursday revealed that the Russian invasion of Ukraine caused the largest forced movement of people in the world in 2022 and led to internal displacement of 16.9 million people, among which 5.9 million were still displaced at the end of the year, while the rest had chosen to leave the country or risk returning to their homes.
