Disney World Announced 3 Changes to Enhance Your Theme Park Experience

Among the changes announced is the return of complimentary parking for Disney Resort hotel guests.

Walt Disney World Resort announced a trio of important changes “to improve the guest experience and to let our fans know we’re listening to their feedback.” At least one of these will benefit holders of annual passeswhom the company called “some of our most loyal guests.”

The company also announced the opening date (April 4) of TRON Lightcycle Run in magic kingdom and the return of the fireworks display Happily Ever After.

The fans of Disney they had high hopes that there would be positive changes after the departure of Bob Chapek as CEO and the return of Bob Iger. Judging by the comments on Disney Park Blogsa company site where the new measures were posted, the announcement was well received.

Complimentary parking is back when you stay at a Disney Resort hotel

As of January 10, overnight self-parking will once again be offered free of charge to guests staying at hotels disney resort in Mundo de Walt Disney. According to the company, “This is a Disney difference that many of you have asked us to bring back, and we’re excited to reintroduce it to make your vacation that little bit easier and more affordable.”

Disney Resort hotel guests will also continue to receive free standard parking at Walt Disney World theme parks, daily advance admission to the theme parks (with valid admission and a park reservation), and complimentary transportation options such as buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner.

Park reservation requirements will be relaxed after 2 p.m. for Annual Passholders

Beginning at a date yet to be confirmed, Annual Passholders will be able to visit theme parks after 2 p.m. without reservations, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom. Even so, the blackout dates will continue to apply as before.

Pass holders will also receive access to Disney PhotoPass Lenses and a free experience of Cinderella Castle Mural of Memories (age restrictions apply).

The company announced that they will share the start date with passholders soon, as well as information about a new offer where they can create and share short Disney-themed video slideshows and their favorite photos from theme park visits. .

Attraction photo downloads will be included with the Genie+ service

Also on a date not yet confirmed, visitors who purchase the service Disney Genie+ will receive digital downloads of your attraction photos from Disney PhotoPass (taken in the park on the day of purchase) at no additional charge.
