At least 820 people died in the earthquake that shook Morocco on Friday night, with the epicenter near the tourist city of Marrakech, the Ministry of the Interior announced this Saturday.
The strong earthquake, with a magnitude of 6.8 according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), left 672 injured, 205 of them seriously, according to a statement from the ministry. A previous balance put the dead at 632 and the injured at 329.
