The CEO of Twitter, Elon Musktried to generate great expectation with a unique revelation related to company files and documents, which would show “what really happened” behind the scenes when former executives decided temporarily suppress a history of New York Post in 2020 about Hunter Biden shortly before the 2020 election.
But instead of publishing private documents that support what he had previously announced, Musk limited himself to showing a series of tweets from the journalist. Matt Taibbi, to whom information had already been provided – and what Twitter executives themselves have detailed in the last two years – that corroborated what, broadly speaking, had been commented on the incident.
“What you are about to read is the first installment in a series, based on thousands of internal documents obtained by Twitter sources,” Taibbi said. Faced with the revelations already known to all, some former Twitter employees reacted mostly with yawns.
“It’s nice to land and read the Twitter archives only to discover that there are none (…)”, one of them joked with the magazine rolling stones.
The prominent content was a series of emails that Hunter Biden would have sent to a group of Ukrainian businessmen in the energy sector so that they could meet his father, when he was vice president of the United States.
In addition, the computer also contained Hunter Biden sexually explicit material and some images in which he appears consuming alleged drugs.
The material was not fully verified, but analysts consulted by media such as The Washington Post they considered that there was a high probability that the material was real.
