The iranian security forces shot dead at least three protesters this Saturday in the northwest of the country during protests triggered by the death of the young woman Mahsa Aminiad hengawan Iranian Kurdish advocacy NGO.

The human rights group said security forces had killed at least 25 people in Kurdistan since Tuesday, when protesters poured into the streets in the anniversary of a deadly 2019 crackdown known as the “Bloody Aban” – or bloody November.
“Twenty-three people died from direct fire, one from torture and one from stab wounds,” Hengaw said.
On Saturday, Iran’s state newspaper reported that 14 security personnel had been killed in three days of protests called to mark the November 15 anniversary.
Hundreds of people died in the crackdown on street violence in 2019, which erupted from a rise in fuel prices.
