The numbers of deaths at the hands of the Iran regime they are more and more alarming. so far 2023the authorities of the Persian country they have already executed 55 peopleas reported by the NGO that advocates for human rights, Iran Human Rights.
The body denounced that “all executions (ordered) by the Islamic Republic they are political” and, therefore, have as their main objective sow “terror in society”.
The NGO called for an immediate stop to these actions, something that the international community has already stated repeatedly in recent months. “To stop the killing machine of the State, no execution should be toleratedwhether for political reasons or not”, added, for his part, the director of IHR, Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam.

In its message, the organization specified the causes of death of this more than fifty people in the first 26 days of the year.
In that sense, four are part of the important wave of protests that have taken place in the country since last September when the Moral Police detained Mahsa Amini for breaking the dress code and subsequently died.
The most recent case was that of Mohammed Mahdi KaramiKurdish-Iranian karate champion, and Seyed Mohammad Hosseinian activist who volunteered with children, who died after being identified as main perpetrators of the crime that led to the martyrdom of the paramilitary Ruhollah Ajamian. Most of those convicted for this cause are branded as ‘moharebe’that is, “enemies of God.”

Of the rest, 37 were hanged for offenses related to drugs and about the last 14 still exact causes could not be defined.
Also of great relevance was the case of Alireza Akbari, the former Deputy Defense Minister who was executed for allegedly spying for the UK intelligence services.
In any case, despite the fact that most of the executions have been related to crimes or causes outside these protests, Iran Human Rights warned that there are at least 107 other people who could be sentenced with this capital punishment because of these riots and about 16 who have already been formally sentenced to it.
On the other hand, a balance released by the NGO Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) already raised to 522 the deceased in Iran since the protests began, which were violently repressed by the Revolutionary Guard.

Among them, the NGO indicated that there are 70 minors and 68 policemen while there are also almost 20,000 detainees, including “hundreds of human rights defenders, activists, journalists and lawyers detained for their peaceful dissent or for supporting the protests.”
These episodes of extreme violence have kept the international community in suspense for months, which, on repeated occasions, repudiated the actions of the regime and pointed out “shams” the sentences issued by the Persian court.
Among the complaints it is pointed out that the judgments are being celebrated behind closed doors and in Record timeeven, with confessions obtained under torture and without lawyers present.
