Israel announced new pauses for evacuations from the northern Gaza Strip, including the capital

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced this Tuesday new pauses with which it intends to accelerate the evacuations of civilians from the north of the Gaza Strip and that on this occasion they contemplate a temporary cessation of the attacks in two neighborhoods of the Gazan capital, in whose streets Israeli soldiers have been fighting for days.

The usual corridor to travel to areas in the south of the Strip will remain open this Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (local time), while in two neighborhoods of Gaza City – that of Al Daraj and Al Tufá— military activities are “suspended” between 10:00 and 14:00, according to a military spokesperson who urges the population to warn of possible blockages in evacuations by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
