The Israeli Army bombed targets of the Hamas terrorist group in the Gaza Strip today for the fifth consecutive day. in response to a new day of violent protests in the enclave.

“Recently, during a violent disturbance at the security fence between Israel and the Gaza Strip, A suspect threw a Molotov cocktail at an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) military post. located near the security fence, setting the military post on fire,” reported an Army spokesperson.

In response, the military statement added, “an IDF unmanned aerial vehicle attacked a military post belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization that was located in the Rafah area, near where the riots occurred.”

Shortly after, the Army reported that it is carrying out more bombings on the Strip.

For the moment, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has not reported any deaths or injuries in today’s demonstrations on the border or from the bombings.

Israeli forces stationed in the border area used anti-riot dispersal means.

This Tuesday’s episodes follow similar incidents that have happened daily since last Fridaywhen 31 Palestinians were injured by shots from the Israeli Army during a demonstration on the border.

Since that day, Israeli bombings have been reported every day, although without causing injuries but only material damage.

The protests at the separation fence have intensified strongly in the last two weeks, reaching a magnitude that has not been recorded for more than a year.

Given this situation, Israel announced this week that it is reinforcing troops along the border with Gaza and added a new battalion to the division operating in the area.

Israel’s attack on Hamas military posts is not unusual in circumstances like these, since The Jewish State considers the terrorist group responsible for any violent incident from the Strip.

The Israeli authorities have also imposed a tight blockade on Gaza since 2007, when Hamas took power after expelling the Palestinian National Authority.

Since then, Palestinian militias in Gaza have faced Israel in four wars and dozens of military escalations; the last one last May, when the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad fought with Israeli forces in a fierce five-day conflict that left 34 Palestinians dead in the Strip and two dead on the Israeli side.

On the other hand, the FDI and the Border Police From Israel On September 5, they attacked a building that contained several explosive devices ready to be used and it worked like terrorist headquarters suspects in the Nur Shams Palestinian refugee campin the north of West Bank.

“During the anti-terrorist activity, the suspects threw explosives and burning tires at the forces and there was an exchange of gunfire with several suspects, the impacts of which were identified. In addition, an IDF combat engineering vehicle operating in the Nur Shams camp to discover explosive devices identified an explosive that detonated,” reported the Israeli Army, which stated that no injuries were reported among its members.
