Ivanka Trump confirmed that she will not be part of Donald Trump’s campaign for the 2024 presidential elections

Former US President donald trump launched his presidential candidacy for the 2024 elections for the Republican Party from his home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida. Members of his family including his wife, Melania Trump, and his son, Eric, were present during the event. Ivanka’s husband, his daughter, Jared Kushner also attended the event but without Ivanka.

In a statement, Ivanka Trump said: “I love my father. This return, I am deciding to give priority to my young children, and the private life that we are creating as a family. I don’t plan to be involved in politics.”

I add that: “I will always love and support my father, and I will continue to do so outside of the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and will always be proud of the accomplishments of our administration.”

Both Ivanka and her husband, Kushner, played essential roles in the Trump administration, although they faced accusations of nepotism.

Since Trump lost the elections in 2020, Ivanka Trump and her family decided to move to a mansion in Florida. Recently, she had to testify before a committee investigating the attack on the American capitol in 2021, where supporters of the former Republican president tried to reverse her electoral defeat.

Ivanka Trump was with her father at the White House that day and was one of more than 800 witnesses the committee has interviewed. Congressman Bennie Thompson, chair of the committee, described her testimony as “helpful.”
