In this version of the Shakira and Bizarrap theme, the Hong Kong native sings some parts in English, changing the original lyrics a bit.
Jackson Wang, a member of the South Korean group GOT7, joined the “fever” caused by Shakira’s collaboration with Bizarrap, recording a cover of this song in his own style.
It was through the singer’s Instagram accounts and the 88rising label that the cover made by Jackson Wang was released, who next May will visit Mexico to give a show on his Magic Man tour.
In this version, the young Hong Konger sings some parts in English, changing the lyrics a bit, but he kept some phrases like “I should have thrown that cat away” and instead of “boys like you”, he says “girls like you”.
“Girls like you, you broke my heart thousands of times and I don’t want to drown in your constant lies, I’m sorry baby. A while ago I should have thrown away that cat ”, sings Jackson Wang, he knows everything about his presentation in Mexico here.
In the last seconds of this short video, singer Jackson Wang wrote an emotional message dedicated to Shakira, as well as Bizarrap, whom he praised for his work as a music producer.
“I love you Shakira. I have always been a fan, you are an inspiration. Also a big shout out to Bizarrap, you are an amazing producer. Love, Jackson,” she reads.
