Biden also praised the work of several Democratic senators who have introduced bills to ban military weapons during the day on Monday, a day after a man killed eleven people at the Chinese New Year celebration in Monterey Park, California.
At least seven people were killed in two shootings in Half Moon Baya city of just over 11,000 inhabitants located 19 kilometers south of San Francisco (California, United States), according to local media reports this Monday afternoon.
Four victims were found on a farm mushroom farm off the Cabrillo Highway in Half Moon Bay.
In that same area, authorities found a fifth victim, seriously injured, who was taken to a nearby hospital, according to local media reports.
