Lucero and Mijares received the Emblematic Key of the World Entertainment Capital

Last Saturday, a spectacular concert by Lucero and Mijares took place in the city of McAllen, located in Hidalgo County, Texas.

More than 5,000 attendees attended the emblematic Payne arena located near the Rio Grande on the US border. For more than two hours the fans chanted each of the hits performed by the popular Mexican artists.

One of the most significant moments of the night was when a delegation led by Pablo Antonio Castro Zavala, President of the Paseo de las Estrellas and the International Association of Press, Radio and Television, took the stage to perform delivery of the Emblematic Key of the World Entertainment Capital and the International Medal “Maximum Hispanic Pride”, important decorations awarded to Lucero and Mijares in front of their fanswho stood and applauded for several minutes during the emotional ceremony held in the middle of the recital.

Gabriel Salas, Paul Villarreal and Ruben Vela from the Steering Committee of the aforementioned organizations congratulated the winners and also gave a commemorative pin to the actress who also starred in “Chispita” several years ago in a soap opera, and to the interpreter of “She” .

Visibly moved, the singers thanked the audience and the organizers of the special tribute, held in their honor, to recognize their brilliant artistic career and prominent presence on international stages.
