The film will begin filming in spring
Actors Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell will star in the new film by Korean-American director Kogonada, titled “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.”
The specialized media Deadline reported this Wednesday that the film will be produced by Imperative Entertainment, and will have the original script by Seth Reiss, who has participated in films such as “The Menu” or television series such as “Onion SportsDome.”
The film will begin shooting in the spring at different locations in California. Although plot details are still unknown, the project has been described as an imaginative story in which two strangers are connected by an incredible journey.
The director’s project, acclaimed for works such as “Colombus” and the “Pachinko” series, marks Robbie’s return to the big screen after the success of “Barbie”, which after its release in July 2023 became the highest-grossing film of the year and is currently nominated in eight categories at the Hollywood Academy Oscar Awards.
On the other hand, it is expected that before releasing this film, Farrell will present the series “Sugar.”
The 47-year-old actor was one of the stars of the 2023 awards season for his performance in “The Banshees of the Inisherin,” which earned him a nomination for best actor.
The actor of “The Lobster” and Kogonada had already worked together for the science fiction drama “After Yang.”
