- The American diva and her 12-year-old twins traveled to Washington DC to share a moment of holiday cheer with President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris
Like every year, the iconic diva is bringing her festive charm wherever she goes, and this year, the White House could not be the exception. In a visit full of Christmas sparkle and joy, Carey made a trip to Washington DC after finishing her Christmas tour this Sunday, December 17, being received by the President of the United States, Joe Biden.
The singer of “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, recognized worldwide for her contributions to the musical environment of this time of year, did not go unnoticed during her recent visit to the presidential residence. The singer was accompanied by her 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe to spread the spirit of the season.
The special visit took place last week and was documented in an emotional post shared from his Instagram account and the official White House account. In the images the star was seen with the president and Vice President Kamala Harris with her husband Doug Emhoff, testifying to a meeting full of good wishes and commemoration. Of course, the meeting was also filled with laughter and talk between Biden and Mariah’s two children.
In the caption, the singer expressed her delight by highlighting the festive decorations that adorned the White House, as also evidenced by the photos. “Last week I had the pleasure of meeting President Biden and Vice President Harris at the White House to ring in the holiday season! During that time, we were able to see all the holiday decorations and spread some cheer!,” she wrote alongside three Christmas emojis.
