Doctors Aracely Díaz Oviedo and Verónica Gallegos García, professors and researchers at the Faculty of Nursing and Nutrition of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, obtained recognition from the FEMAFEE in the categories of Research Merit 2021 and Teaching Merit 2021, respectively. .
In the category of Teaching Merit, Dr. Verónica Gallegos García pointed out that some of the aspects to consider for the granting of this recognition is having a 25-year trajectory, “where the subjects taught are reviewed, evaluation issued by students and participate in curricular evaluation processes, and above all, continuing education, both disciplinary and personal and pedagogical techniques ”.
He added that it is also necessary to have recognition of the Promep Profile, which includes the other areas, as well as tutorials, which are the academic accompaniment of students, both undergraduate and graduate.
For the recognition of Research Merit, Dr. Aracely Díaz Oviedo, explained that the Mexican Federation of Nursing Faculties and Schools, summoned all the regions that comprise it, which are around 15 throughout the country, “in my case , the proposal that is made through the Technical Councils of the Faculties that we belong to this Federation, candidates apply and a series of requirements had to be met in order to apply ”.
