Mod Sun was on tour, promoting his album God Save The Teen, when the story broke that his relationship with Avril had ended.
Mod Sun broke the silence for the first time since Avril Lavigne called off the now ex-couple’s engagement and said on her social media that she is dealing with a broken heart.
«In a week my life changed completely. I only know that there is a plan for everything. I will keep my head up, but I will always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken,” he said.

“Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the whole world, thank you for always supporting me. See you on stage,” she said.
According to the TMZ portal, Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun would have gone out a couple of times for several months before she decided to get confused and break off the engagement with the musician.
The split came on the heels of a series of photos showing Avril with Tyga and a group of friends.
Avril and Tyga were spotted hugging in the parking lot of the celebrity hotspot.
