Natalie Portman is willing to return to Star Wars

Star Wars fans got to see Natalie Portman’s performance as Padmé Amidala in the prequel trilogy The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith.

However, although the story that narrates what happened in the prequels, the truth is that several wondered why Portman has not had at least one cameo in the series.

Recently, in an interview with GQ, the actress confessed that she feels prepared for her return to the Star Wars stories and that she is not closed to this possibility, to find out what happened to Amidala.

When asked, the producer and director also pointed out that at no time since the production of the galactic saga has she been asked to participate again, at least for a flashback: “But I’m open to it.”

Even in the interview with the aforementioned media outlet, he recalled that when he made the recordings of Thor: Love and Thunder, the director of the tape completely forgot that he had played Padmé Amidala.

“He says he did it because he asked me if I wanted to be in a Star Wars movie and I said, ‘Yeah, I was’… I thought he was kidding, it’s so funny I thought it was a joke.

And then he said in an interview that he felt a little embarrassed afterwards,” Portman concluded for GQ.
