Armenia and Azerbaijan were accused this Thursday of a new confrontation at the border in which four soldiers were wounded on both sides.

According to a statement issued by the Defense Ministry, Azerbaijani forces opened fire on Armenian positions near the town of Sotk (Eastern Armenia) at 06:00 local time.
“The Armenian side has three wounded. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces also opened fire on an ambulance carrying the wounded.”says the official note.
In September 2022 Azerbaijan has already attacked with artillery and heavy weapons the Armenian positions in Sotk and other towns close to the border.

Both sides accuse each other of violating the truce signed after the bloody war of 2020.
