Armenia and Azerbaijan were accused this Thursday of a new confrontation at the border in which four soldiers were wounded on both sides.

He Armenian Ministry of Defense reported three military officials injured by a azerbaijani attack with artillery and mortars that began at dawn.

According to a statement issued by the Defense Ministry, Azerbaijani forces opened fire on Armenian positions near the town of Sotk (Eastern Armenia) at 06:00 local time.

“The Armenian side has three wounded. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces also opened fire on an ambulance carrying the wounded.”says the official note.

Due to the Armenian actions, an Azerbaijani soldier was seriously injured in the head, the military department said.
