Paris Rodríguez returns to New York Fashion Week: She has dressed Becky G and Maite Perroni!

Colombian fashion designer Paris Rodríguez will appear on the official runway of the 23rd edition of New York Fashion Week. This would be the third time that she has participated in one of the most important fashion weeks in the world.

Paris remembers with great nostalgia that she always dreamed that her creativity and imagination would be embodied in dresses that were shown to the world in the Big Apple.

“In the middle of the Manhattan sunset, on Fifth Avenue, right where at the age of 14 I used to stop with my aunt to look at the shops, the skyscrapers, the lights… Everything that inspired me. She would tell him: ‘one day you will see my dresses here’, recalls Paris with emotion.

The designer began her career in the world of fashion leading a company that exported swimwear and resort fashion to more than 20 countries, including Dubai and Australia. She has dressed big entertainment stars such as singers: Becky G, Maite Perroni, Ximena Sariñana, Paty Cantu; the model Stephanie Salas and the viceroy of universal beauty Nadia Ferreira.

Although she is Colombian by birth, she also feels Mexican. In fact, part of the manufacturing process for her costumes is done in Mexico.

“This country gave me the opportunity to have my atelier, made up of new Mexican talents and local companies with certified labor, who perfectly understand the inspiration of my brand”, commented Paris, who will present her spring-summer 2023 collection, on Sunday, September 10 at Rockefeller Centerduring New York Fashion Week.
