Prepare Delicious Bacon Wrapped Chicken Legs

Pepper, Cilantro and paprika. Accompany them with cilantro dressing.

This Bacon Wrapped Chicken Legs recipe is perfect for family Sunday cookouts, or sporting events.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cups butter, cubed
  • 1 cup tomato, in small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup Kikkoman Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon guajillo chili, powdered
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 800 grams of chicken leg, clean, without skin, with the bone uncovered (in the form of a beef shoulder)
  • 400 grams of bacon
  • 1/2 cups unsweetened Greek yogurt, for the dressing
  • 1 cup sour cream, for the dressing
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, without seeds, for the dressing
  • 1 garlic clove, for the dressing
  • 2 serrano chiles, without tail, for the dressing
  • 1/2 cups coriander, for the dressing
  • enough salt, for the dressing
  • enough pepper, for the dressing
  • to taste of potato wedges, to accompany

Preparation

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the tomato until almost completely melted.

Subsequently, add the apple cider vinegar, the Kikkoman Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce, the garlic powder, the guajillo chile powder, the paprika and the ground black pepper until all the ingredients are well integrated. Cook for 5 more minutes or until the sauce is slightly thick.

Bathe the chicken legs with the previous mixture, then wrap with the slices of bacon, exposing the clean bone. Use wooden toothpicks if necessary. Repeat the process until you finish the chicken pieces.

Arrange the bacon-wrapped chicken legs on a baking sheet, brush again with the sauce, and bake at 350°F for 60 minutes.

Remember to varnish from time to time so that the chicken legs brown very well and do not lose their juiciness. Once ready, reserve hot.

Prepare a dressing to accompany your bacon wrapped chicken legs! Blend the yogurt, the sour cream, the lemon juice, the garlic clove, the serrano chiles, the coriander, and enough salt and pepper until well blended.
