- Activity contributes to preventing violence and raising awareness among students
The Regular State Educational System (SEER), presented the XXVI Demonstration of Musical Instruments Execution, in the auditorium of Section 52 of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE), activities that strengthen the promotion and preservation of culture, in girls, boys and adolescents.
On behalf of the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, the head of the SEER, Crisógono Sánchez Lara, said that music is a powerful didactic tool that facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and development of skills that “can be used to sensitize the students, keeping them away from violence and crime”.
The event participated in the Child Development Center of the State number 3; the Galeana Brothers Kindergarten; the Lomas del Real and Buckingham Institutes: the Ayoc Educational Community; the Casa Taller Montessori Primary and Secondary School and the State School of Music.
The public recognized the effort and dedication of the students in the execution of the melodies, Potpourri, Remix of musical rhythms, Harry Potter, Titanic, Moliendo café, La llorona, Huapango de Moncayo, Potpourri of Mexican themes and Sinfony for clarinet, Sax and piano by Tomas Basset.
