Punishes his video game-addicted son by making him play for 17 hours straight

The boy agreed to his punishment and his father called his teacher to ask for the day off for his punishment.

Without a doubt, the addiction of video games in children has become a problem, for which a father punished his son in an unusual way.

The father forced his 11-year-old son to play mobile games for 17 hours straight as punishment for his addiction.

The events occurred in Shenzhen, China, and according to local media, a father surnamed Huang discovered his son playing mobile games at 1:30 am on March 8.

Huang then told his son that he could let him play as much as he wanted the next day on the condition that he couldn’t sleep.

The father shared his exemplary punishment through the social network Douyin, where he showed his son playing for 24 hours.

The boy agreed to his punishment and his father called his teacher to ask for the day off for his punishment.

From 7:30 am, his son was very alert, but after 1:30 pm, he fell asleep after playing for 12 hours.

But the father woke up his son to continue playing and after 6:30 pm (17 hours of playing) his son finally gave up and begged for forgiveness.

He also wrote a letter in English promising that he will no longer play games on his phone late at night.
