The acquittal last Friday of the teenager Kyle Rittenhouse, accused of the murder of two people during the riots that followed the racial protests in Kenosha (Wisconsin) in August 2020, has led to several demonstrations against the verdict in cities like New York, Portland or the locality of Kenosha.

The protests have been repeated in the city of Portland, where about 200 people staged a violent rally in front of the city’s Justice Center. Some groups of protesters, dressed from head to toe in black, smashed the windows of adjacent buildings with stones and attacked a team of reporters from the local branch of the chain. ABC, KATU.
