The government of South Korea has denounced this Tuesday the “one-sided and irresponsible” attitude of the North Korean regime and has highlighted that the refusal of Pyongyang to answer the routine safety calls It has been extended for the fifth consecutive day, an attitude for which the North Korean authorities “have not given any explanation.”

“North Korea has consistently been disingenuous and reticent in contact with the South, refusing to receive messages by phone and not answering even routine calls over the Internet. On the other hand, he has denounced that “despite numerous appeals and warnings, the North operates in facilities in the Gaeseong Industrial Complex (GIC) without permission, violating the property of South Korean companies,” he added.

“The Government firmly condemns these illegal acts, which violate the Agreement for the Protection of Inter-Korean Investments reached between both Koreas and the North Korea Gaeseong Industrial Complex Law. We clearly state that the North will be solely responsible for the consequences, ”he warned.
