He Taiwan Ministry of Defense reported this Saturday that it detected three warships and 13 military aircraft of the Chinese regime furrowing around the island, after the return of the United States of the president Tsai Ing-wen.
Through its Twitter account, the ministry confirmed that at 06:00 local time, four of the Chinese fighters (SU-30, Y-8 RECCE and J-16*2) ventured into their air defense space in the southwest of the island.
The Taiwanese Ministry of Defense deployed fighter jets, Navy ships and activated ground-based missile launch systems in response to the violation of its airspace.
On April 1, Taiwan also denounced the entry of 18 fighter jets and four Navy ships around the island, detailing that a dozen planes crossed the so-called “Davis line”which marks the middle of the Taiwan Strait before turning around.
This same Saturday, the forces of the Xi Jinping regime notified the organization of military maneuvers around Taiwanafter the president of the island, Tsai Ing-wenwill meet this Wednesday in California with the president of the United States House of RepresentativesKevin McCarthy.

The exercises, which will be both maritime and aerial and will take place in the north and south of the island, will begin this Saturday and will last until Monday.
Beijing on Thursday condemned Tsai’s stay in the United States, a country it accused of “collusion” with Taiwan, at the same time that he advanced that he would respond with “resolute and effective measures to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
For their part, the maritime security authorities of the southeastern province of Fujian, located off Taiwan, warned in two statements that live-fire exercises will take place in the waters near the Chinese coast of that province on 8, 11, 13 , 15, 17 and 20 of this month, collected the local newspaper Global Times.
This Friday, China had announced the imposition of sanctions to the representative of Taiwan to the US, Hsiao Bi-khimfor -according to Beijing- requesting US support for the island’s independence agenda in order to provoke confrontation in the Strait of Formosa.
In addition, the Asian giant imposed other sanctions against the hudson institute and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for “providing a platform” for Tsai to “engage in separatist activities.”

The Taiwanese leader, who made a stopover in California on her return from a official trip through Central Americadelivered a speech Thursday at a symposium organized by the hudson institutewhich granted him his Global Leadership Awardas well as meeting with US lawmakers at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
The situation is reminiscent of the one that occurred last August, when the visit to Taiwan of the then Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosiangered Beijing, which responded with military maneuvers around the island to a trip it described as a “sham” and “deplorable treason”.
