The number of civilian casualties of Russian rocket attack against an apartment building in Zaporizhzhyain southern Ukraine, has risen to ten after others were recovered three bodies of the rubble, the Ukrainian authorities reported today.
“At 7:00 a.m. on March 4, the rescue services recovered the bodies of three other dead residents of the building,” the Department of Emergency Situations of the Zaporizhzhia region announced on its Facebook account.
“In all, rescuers have recovered ten corpses from under the rubble of the building, including a child,” said this source.
During the last two days, the rescue services have been working at the impact site, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, to try to locate the victims. five people who remained missing.

Initially, the Zaporizhzhia Region Prosecutor’s Office had released the number of four deaths and seven people hospitalized, three of them in critical condition and four in serious condition, but the number of fatalities has been increasing.
As a result of the attack, more than ten apartments between the second and fifth floors of the building were totally destroyed.
A total of 90 people, including three psychologists, and 24 units were involved in the search and rescue operations, the State Emergency Service added.
Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelenskyclaimed that frontline cities and districts are subject “to Russian shelling every day and night.”
“It is a deliberate terror. Nikopol and other communities of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Zaporizhzhia, Khersonthe frontline part of Donbas, Kharkiv, Sumi and Chernigov provinces” suffer from these attacks, Zelensky added.
