The enigmatic and assertive British artist banksy has captured one of his graffiti on the wall of a ruined building from the Ukrainian city of Borodyankaon the outskirts of kyiv, reports the portal ukrinform.

The picture shows a girl doing a gymnastic exercise of ground, supported in an almost impossible balance on the remains of one of the side walls eaten away by the bombing.

Banksy confirmed on his Instagram account that it was his work. Borodyanka was particularly hard hit by Russian airstrikes in the first weeks of the conflict. The graffiti was initially spread from the anonymous artist’s Instagram account, which the Ukrainian portal recalls verifies its authenticity, as this is Banksy’s usual way of spreading his works.

The British artist has previously captured some of his vindictive graffiti in other territories in conflict.

Ukrinform also recalls that a graffiti by the author was recently auctioned in London, for charity in support of a Ukrainian children’s hospital, which reached the figure of 81,000 pounds ($95,600).

Last June, eight people were condemned in Paris for his involvement in the theft of a work by Banksy that he had done on a door of the Bataclan in tribute to the victims of the jihadist attack against that theater on November 13, 2015.
