The Iranian regime once again threatened Israel: “The slightest mistake will result in the destruction of Haifa and Tel Aviv”

The President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisiaffirmed this Tuesday that any threat against the security of his country will result in the “destruction of Haifa and Tel Avivand called USA to withdraw their troops from the region.

“The enemies, especially the Zionist regime, have received the message that the slightest mistake against the country will provoke a severe response from the Armed Forces that will result in the destruction of haifa and Tel AvivRaisi said in a speech during a military parade held for the National Day of the Iranian Army.

The Iranian president also called on USA to withdraw their troops from the region “for their own interest”, according to television Press TV.

“The presence of foreign troops threatens regional securitybut our Armed Forces provide security when they are present in the region”, assured the president.

“Our Armed Forces shake hands with the nations trying to create security in the region”, added Raisi, in an apparent reference to Saudi Arabia.

Tehran and Riyadh agreed in March on restoration of their diplomatic relations on March 10, an agreement that was closed in Beijing with China as an intermediary.

During the parade, fighter jets flew over the Iranian capital while troops paraded alongside tanks and other weapons in front of the Iranian president, live local television shows.

The president’s statements come after an increase in recent weeks in the covert war between Iran and Israel.

Tel Aviv has attacked Syria with missiles four times in recent weeks, bombings in which two died “advisers” to the Iranian Revolutionary Guardan elite body that promised revenge for their deaths.

At once, Israel has suffered from rocket fire from Loop, Lebanon and Syria.

Raisi’s comments also coincide with the Reza Pahlavi’s visit to Israelson of the last shah, who was deposed in the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Pahlavi, who is considered the crown prince of the country, met with the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahuto renew the old ties that Tel Aviv and Tehran maintained during the reign of his father, Mohamad Reza Pahlavi.

Israel considers Iran an “existential threat” and views with concern not only its nuclear program, but the expansion of its military capabilities throughout the Middle East, financing and supporting armed militias in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza or Iraq.
