the iconic Life Time Miami Marathon And Half will return to the streets of downtown Miami, miami beach Y Coconut Grove starting at 6:00 in the morning of Sunday, January 29. A limit of 18,000 runners representing 50 states and almost 70 countries will advance through the streets and avenues of the south florida in one of the most prestigious races in the world.

The 42 kilometer race will start at the Miami-Dade Arena (home of the Miami Heat), will cross the MacArthur Causeway until Ocean Drivewill go through Art District Y Coconut Groveand will end near the starting point.

A few days before the new year, the Marathon already had the tickets for the participants sold out. Strong international demand for a place in the race generated the first sell-out in the event’s 21-year history, a result buoyed by its fast and flat course certified by the USTAF (United States Track and Field Federation) suitable for Bostonwhich shows the incomparable urban landscape of Miami and its shores.

Although the main event will take place on Sunday, the festivities will start on Friday the 27th at 12:00 noon at the Miami Beach Convention Center with The Life Time Miami Marathon & Half Expo. During the event, the Life Time Diaper Derby will kick off the racing weekend. This will be a fun-filled event for little crawlers ages 6-12 months.

The babies will fight their way across a 10 foot mat in 5 heats of 5 participants. The fastest in each heat will compete in the final for first place. Registration will be limited to the first 25 and has a cost of USD 20.

On Saturday 28 will be held the Life Time Tropical 5k, a warm-up race for the grand final of five kilometers that will begin at 7:30 in the morning. The starting line will be located at the MacArthur Causeway, on the east side of watson island and the finish point will be at 1 Washington Ave.

Among the novelties of this 2023, a category of prizes will be offered in support of the non binary brokers. This as part of gender inclusion and respect for the community. In addition, those who wish to attend the event will be able to appreciate the artist’s murals louis valle who painted several walls in shopping centers such as Sunset place, Midtown Shops, Adventure Mall and City Place Doral.
