Silvia Navarro and Sergio Basañez They formed one of the most beloved couples on Mexican television, to be exact in Aztec TVwhere they had the opportunity to star TV soaps and work on successful projects.

The actors starred together in three stories, which marked an important stage on the Ajusco television station, since they managed to compete in ratings with titles from the Canal de las estrellas.

Silvia Navarro and Sergio Basañez starred in ‘Catalina and Sebastián’, but also ‘Cuando seas mía’, a remake of the successful Colombian soap opera, ‘Café con aroma de mujer’. The public liked the couple so much that later, TV Azteca executives decided to triple the formula in ‘La heredera’.

Catherine and Sebastian (1999)

“Catalina Negrete” (Silvia Navarro) is the eldest daughter of a family that appears to have a good economic position. Her mother “Adela” is an ambitious and interested woman, so much so that she forces her to marry “Sebastián Mendoza” (Sergio Basañez), a handsome and wealthy young man, but she only loves her boyfriend “Eduardo”; however, he leaves her to marry “Silvia”, a wealthy woman who is 10 years her senior.

When You’re Mine (2001)

“Teresa Suárez, Paloma” (Silvia Navarro), is a woman who works as a picker in the coffee plantations of the Casa Blanca farm in Veracruz. The coffee plantations are owned by the Sánchez Serrano family. After the death of the grandfather and patriarch of the family, “Don Lorenzo Sánchez Serrano”, at the wake “Paloma” meets one of Don Lorenzo’s grandchildren, “Diego Sánchez Serrano” (Sergio Basañez) and falls in love with him, who in turn corresponds to him.

The Heiress (2004)
