As part of the celebrations towards the 100 years of autonomy of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP), Alondra de la Parra and Gabriela Muñoz “Chula The Clown” will be presented, accompanied by the Mining Symphony Orchestra, with the show “The Silence of Sound”, an event that will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 8:00 p.m.

The conductor Alondra de la Parra highlighted that this event, which will only be presented in four cities in Mexico, is sponsored by GNP Seguros in collaboration with the Maximum House of Studies, and pointed out that “The Silence of Sound” is a project that aims to bring the world of symphonic music closer and tells the story of a character, in which the imagination flies and who can capture situations, feelings and landscapes.

He said that the musical repertoire is by various authors, “in this case, it is an internal journey to the mind and soul of a musician. Gaby and I have been developing this work for almost eight years when I met her at one of her shows. It is a very detailed job, where we work on the music, the story written by both and merge it. It has been a long dream and I am excited to be able to present it here in San Luis Potosí.”

For her part, Gaby Muñoz “Chula The Clown”, thanked the opportunity to be able to present her show with the teacher Alondra de la Parra, “this fusion of two disciplines that might not seem to coincide, and suddenly we realize that has everything to do; with a playful, dreamlike language, and in this case, my character is a bridge that manages to empathize between the scenic and orchestral universe, with the audience”.
