Onion, cheese and cream, decorate with basil
Enjoy this classic Italian-American dish! The vodka fettuccine is prepared with a creamy sauce of fresh tomatoes, garlic, onion and with the spectacular touch of vodka
Ingredients:
- 5 liters of water, to cook the pasta
- enough salt, to cook the pasta
- 1 package of Fettuccine, 500 g
- 1/4 cups olive oil, for the sauce
- 1/4 onions, finely chopped, for the sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, for the sauce
- 4 tomatoes, poached, for the sauce
- 1 cup vodka, for the sauce
- 1/2 cups tomato puree, for the sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes, for the sauce
- enough salt, for the sauce
- enough pepper, for the sauce
- 1 Cup of whipping cream, for the sauce
- 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, for the sauce
- to taste basil, to decorate
- to taste Parmesan cheese, to accompany
- to taste of salad, to accompany
Preparation:
Heat the water in a deep pot and once it starts to boil, add the Fettuccine and cook for 7 to 9 minutes.
Drain and reserve.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the onion, garlic, and tomatoes.
Subsequently, pour the vodka and flame for 5 minutes
Process the ingredients using a hand or arm processor until you obtain a smooth sauce.
Finally, add the tomato puree, chili flakes, salt, pepper, cream, Parmesan cheese, and Fettuccine. Cook the sauce for 2 minutes.
Serve the vodka fettuccine in a deep plate and garnish with basil.
