Two German teenagers stabbed a 12-year-old girl to death

Two 12 and 13-year-old girls confessed to stabbing another 12-year-old to death of its surroundings, in the west of Germanythe police reported on Tuesday, in a case that has shocked the country.

In a case that outraged Germany, police found the body of a girl on Sunday, named only as Louisenear a bike path in a forest.

The victim was reported missing on Saturday when she did not return to her home near the city of Freudenberg, in North Rhine-Westphalia. His body was found the next day in a wooded area, not far from his home. Her parents had raised the alarm the day before after she visited a friend of hers.

“The girl died as a result of numerous knife wounds and loss of blood,” Koblenz public prosecutor Mario Mannweiler told a news conference.

Two girls, ages 12 and 13, confessed to the murderadded Florian Locker, Koblenz’s police chief. The two minors “gave information about the case and finally confessed to the crime,” Locker said.

The two girls and Luise knew each other, the prosecutor added, but he did not give more details about the suspects, who were less than 14 years old. they are not criminally liable for his actions in Germany.

“We believe that this crime was committed by two girls,” Mannweiler said. As they are 12 and 13 years old, they are not subject to criminal law, which in Germany only applies to minors aged 14 and over. They are in the hands of the juvenile office.

There was no evidence that anyone else was involved or that there had been a sexual assault, Mannweiler said, declining to elaborate.

Investigations determined that Luise had died as a result of stab wounds, prosecutor Mario Mannweiler told reporters, adding that no weapon had yet been found.

On Saturday night, Luise had to walk back from a friend’s house. When she did not arrive, her parents alerted the police, three hours after his disappearance.
