The alleged attacker used to commit the massacre a pistol owned by his fatherwho was also arrested.

The attacker had drawn up a list of the people he intended to kill, and had been planning the attack for a month.

The minor, who was arrested and admitted to a psychiatric center, has 13 yearsand cannot be criminally chargedsince the minimum age of criminal responsibility in Serbia is 14 years.

The Institute of Blood Transfusion reported that almost 500 people turned out on Wednesday to donate blood for the injured in the shooting, and several telephone lines have been opened to provide psychological assistance to the relatives and victims of the attack, and to the students and staff of the school, which will remain closed until Monday.

Classes in all schools in Serbia began today with a minute of silence for the victims of the attack.
