Ukraine attacked a Russian ship in the Black Sea, killing six Putin soldiers

Six Russian soldiers died andn a Ukrainian attack on a Russian military patrol boat type KS-701 Tunets when carrying out a landing operation in the northwest of the Black Sea, according to the government of Volodimir Zelensky.

The Ukrainian Navy published a video in which you can see how an explosion occurs in the light boat when it was near the beach.

Air troops from the Navy bombed the ship. “The enemy has suffered the loss of six occupants who have died and two more occupants who have been wounded”the Ukrainian Navy said in a statement.

In the video you can see the Russian military jumping from the boat to unload material, possibly weapons, when a large explosion occurs.

Also this Sunday, Ukraine reported the death of a man and four more people injured by a Russian bombardment in the Kherson region. The military governor of Kherson, Oleksandr Prokudinhe explained in his Telegram that “the occupying forces fired at residential buildings in Bilozerka around 6:00 pm.”

“A 35-year-old man died in the same place. His 36-year-old wife and his 9-year-old daughter have been injured and are hospitalized. A 37-year-old neighbor has also been injured in the face,” Bilozerka said. Another 77-year-old man was injured by shrapnel in Korabel, also in Kherson.

For his part, The Ukrainian Air Force reported this Sunday that it destroyed 22 Russian drones in the southern region of Odessa.

“On the night of September 3, 2023, the Russian occupiers launched several waves of ‘Shahed-136/131’ drone strikes from the south and southeast,” he posted in Telegram the Ukrainian Air Force, adding that 22 aircraft were destroyed.

A total of 25 Iranian-made explosive drones were launched and “22 of them were destroyed by (…) the forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense and other components of the defense forces of Ukraine”, Indian.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces “continued counteroffensive operations in the western (southern) Zaporizhzhia region and advanced,” the US Institute for War Studies (ISW) reported.

The think tank cited reports from Russian military bloggers who admitted the withdrawal of the Russian Army from southern Robotine “to unspecified positions further south.”

Ukrainian Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavski reported today, according to the agency UNIANthat Ukrainian forces have not only broken through the first line of Russian defense in the south of the country, but are approaching the second.

“Now we are between the first and the second line of defense, we are eliminating the last units of the enemy that cover the withdrawal of Russian troops to the second line,” he said.
