The russian forces use about twenty aerial bombsalso known as slidingon the front line, to prevent their planes from entering the zone where they can be hit by Ukrainian air defenses, explained the spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force.

“They have started using glide bombs that can fly up to 70 kilometers“, said yuriy ignatthe military spokesman, on the national news service, quoted by the Ukrainian news agency united. “The enemy uses up 20 of those bombs a day along the demarcation line,” he added.

Ignat explained that the Russian forces use aircraft Su-35 and Su-34 to drop these bombs without having to penetrate space where they are vulnerable to missiles from Ukraine’s air defenses.
