“A Kh-47 missile could have been destroyed. The others impacted near an airfield and damaged civil infrastructure, and one of them impacted a residential area.”, indicated the Ukrainian army on Telegram.
Svitlana Onishchukhead of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional administration, narrated: “Friday morning began with an air alert. There was an attack on civilian infrastructure in our region. There are victims, including a child who was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The doctors did their best, but unfortunately the child’s life was not saved”.
Recently, the President of Ukraine, Volodomir Zelensky, visited a rehabilitation center in the region where Ukrainian soldiers receive treatment. “Ivano-Frankivsk. The rehabilitation center where our defenders receive treatment. I would like to thank each of our warriors for their feat and heroism.. Thank you from all Ukrainians for defending our country. We will definitely win! I wish you a speedy recovery!” Zelensky wrote after the visit.
The president also thanked the health professionals who work in the place. “Doctors, nurses, you are all fantastic. We are proud of your important work!”.
