Visit the beautiful Siho Beach in Campeche

Siho Playa is a beautiful beach area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy the totally calm atmosphere and watch the fishermen and their boats. Rent a kayak in the palapas located around this beach.

This beach has a lot of charm and little luxury. Climb up the sand hill and find a spot to enjoy the view at the top.

Bring a picnic lunch and snap photos of the rocky shoreline and dry grassy hill. Discover the fascinating formations that jut out of the water and the rocky promontories.

Gaze at the brilliant blue-green hues of the water as the waves crash onto the beach.

You can stay at the Hotel Tucán or stay close to nature, in one of the colonial haciendas located in front of the beach. Relax by the hotel pool and play a game of ping pong. Enjoy a good meal at Los Arrecifes restaurant bar.

Travel north to visit the neighboring fishing village of Seybaplaya. Relax on one of the pristine beaches and work on your tan. Water sports companies offer equipment and kayaks for rent so you can have fun in the sea.

Enjoy a regional dish of octopus, dogfish, grouper or sea bass at the seafood restaurants.

Siho Playa is located on the north coast of the center of the state of Campeche, in the southeast of the country. Travel 23 miles (37 kilometers) south of the state’s namesake city by private or rental car to get here in about 30 minutes.

On the way you will see the beautiful coastal town of Seybaplaya. Also visit the archaeological zone of Edzná in the surroundings.
