White wine, basil and parsley. Garnish with Parmesan cheese
If you are a fan of seafood and pasta, then this recipe for fusilli a la marinera is perfect for you, as you can prepare it for a special afternoon.
Ingredients:
- enough of water
- enough of salt
- 1 package of Fusilli of 500 g
- 1/2 cups of butter
- 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
- 250 grams of shrimp, clean
- 250 grams of clam
- 100 grams squid, in rings
- enough vegetable oil, to fry
- 1 teaspoon garlic, finely minced
- 3 cups tomato, blanched, peeled, diced
- 4 basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoons oregano
- 1/2 cups of white wine
- enough of salt
- enough of pepper
- 1/4 cups of parsley, finely chopped, to decorate
- 1 yellow lemon, sliced, to decorate
- 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated, to decorate
Preparation:
Heat enough water in a pot over medium-high heat and once it boils, add salt.
Wait for it to boil again and add Fusilli.
Cook according to package directions, about 8 minutes.
Remove the pasta from the heat, drain and reserve.
Pour oil into a skillet over medium heat and fry the onion.
Once it is transparent add the shrimp, the clam, the squid and cook for approximately 8 minutes, remove and reserve.
In the same pan add a little oil and butter, fry the garlic and once golden add the chopped tomato along with the basil, oregano and white wine, then season with salt and pepper.
Once boiling and, since it has reduced a bit, add the pasta along with the seafood and cook for a couple more minutes.
Remember that your sauce should be thick.
Serve the fusilli a la marinera with seafood in a slightly deep dish, accommodate the seafood very well, decorate with parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
